A wedding is a wonderful ceremony that celebrates the love that binds a man and a woman together.  Meadowbrook United Methodist Church, desiring to assist in the planning of the wedding has setup guidelines so that the wedding service can be a joyous one. Meadowbrook’s Sanctuary and Fellowship Hall can accommodate up to 400 individuals. Our Parlor is available for small groups of 30 or less.

A reservation will be confirmed only when one of the pastors of Meadowbrook UMC or a guest minister with the approval of the Sr. Pastor of Meadowbrook UMC has agreed to perform the wedding ceremony.  The exact dates and times of the rehearsal and wedding must be fixed at the time the Sanctuary, Fellowship Hall, or other rooms are reserved.  At that time the church secretary will place the wedding date and time on the church calendar.  A deposit and/or one-half of all fees are due at the time the reservation is made. Please contact the church office at 817-534-1741 for a complete listing of guidelines and fees. An appointment can be made to view the facility and discuss specific needs.

Unless either the bride or the groom, parents or guardians are members of Meadowbrook UMC at the time the wedding is scheduled, the wedding is regarded as one of a non-member and certain restrictions and fees will be in place. The wedding service will follow the forms approved by The United Methodist Church.  These rituals are found in The United Methodist Hymnal (pp. 864-869) and The United Methodist Book of Worship (pp. 115-135).  All decisions regarding the wedding service will rest with the officiating pastor of Meadowbrook United Methodist Church.
